• Environmental Liability Assessments

  Identifying environmental risks on site and any liabilities that may arise. Mitigation measures and recommendations to remedy any effects if evident and the setting up of financial bonds to remedy any problems that may occur.

• Licensing Reporting

  The management and reporting of emissions on large scale manufacturing processes such as in Integrated Prevention Pollution Control (IPPC) licensed Facilities. It's significant to generate technical reports that are a requirement of EPA licensed facilities. These must be submitted on an agreed timescale and may include monitoring reports, Environmental Management Systems and Annual Environmental Reports.

  Helping and advising clients to comply with environmental legislation. Auditing facilities/companies to ensure that best practice is achieved and compliance with environmental legislation.
  

• Brownfield Site Consultancy

  Conducting hazardous waste studies to evaluate hazard and advise on treatment and containment. The area of site remediation is becoming increasingly important and it's imperative to remove all potential risks before any development can take place.

  A brownfield site is land where the redevelopment may be complicated by the presence or possible presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant. Reuse and redevelopment of these abandoned, often idle or underutilised industrial and commercial sites is both a challenge and an opportunity. Putting such sites back into productive use can serve as a catalyst for local economic revitalisation. Complex financial, legal and environmental risks and uncertainties are some of the biggest barriers to owners and developers. At Offspring we can manage the process from inception through to completion.

• Waste Profiling

  To help clients achieve a waste licence whereby we will prepare all necessary reports and liaise with issuing body to achieve a successful application. We can also help with waste management permits and waste collection permit applications.
